Role Description

Who are we

With over 700 attendees, consisting of a mix of investors, founders, students, and young professionals, Belgium Slush’D is the biggest startup event in Belgium. We celebrate the potential of tech entrepreneurship to transform our society for the better, and for our 2024 edition, we’re again assembling a dedicated team of 20+ core members and 200+ volunteers to take Belgium Slush’D to the next level!

Our aim is clear: To turn Belgium into a launchpad for European entrepreneurship by uniting the local ecosystem and connecting it to other European hubs. 🚀 Since an image says more than a thousand words, make sure to check out the 2023 aftermovie!

The Role

As a volunteer, you will be helping out with the setup of the event between November 2nd and November 6th. This would either be during the build-up or breakdown of the event, or during the event day itself. Roles range from decorating parts of the venue, to coordinating speakers at one of the stages. If you decide to volunteer, you would get a free ticket to the event and become part of Belgium’s #1 startup event! 💫

About you

• You hold a strong interest for Entrepreneurship
• You’re willing to invest at least 8 hours at the start of November to help make the event a success.
• You’re a resilient self-starter with a strong work-ethic and team-oriented mindset.
• You possess strong communication skills and can interact empathically with event attendees and other volunteers.
• You are looking to have an amazing time building something amazing 🔥
